Godalming area birds

Trip reports

Ever since I was a kid, and I read about a mysterious bird called an Andalusian Hemipode in my Nan's Hamlyn Guide to Birds of Britain and Europe, Europe and its birds have held a strong appeal to me. I aim to fit in a few trips each year, and my Western Palearctic list is one I actively look to lengthen, though world birding (and indeed any travel) is something I love.

As well as foreign trips, I enjoy looking for migrants and rarities in the UK. Below are some recent reports either on Cloudbirders or on this blog as a photo diary.
